Der Geschäftsbereich Pharma der Optima Unternehmensgruppe hat in Knightdale, einem Vorort von Raleigh im US-Bundesstaat North Carolina einen neuen Service Hub eröffnet. Optima Pharma ist innovativer Turnkey-Partner für kundenspezifische Abfüll- und Prozesslösungen für die Pharma- und Biotech-Industrie. Bei der Einweihungszeremonie Ende September waren über 175 Gäste aus Politik und Wirtschaft geladen. Optima Pharma kann seinen Kunden so noch schnelleren und besseren lokalen Support bieten.

New system concepts, climate-friendly refrigeration technology for freeze drying, and ultra-efficient decontamination systems were also highly sought after.

At FachPack 2022, Optima Consumer will demonstrate why the company is a specialist in filling and dispensing sophisticated products. Cutting-edge technologies, comprehensive services, digitalization and sustainability are all key factors for the success of the customers. In addition, the company will be showcasing the OPTIMA CFR, a machine for filling and sealing capsules that enables an especially rapid market entry.

Reaching the goal faster with CSPE 2.0: At ACHEMA, Optima Pharma will present itssuccessful concept for implementing complex turnkey projects consisting of a filling and capping line, isolator and freeze dryer to achieve safe production starts in less time. In the EXPERT ZONE, the mechanical engineering company will also present new trends in isolator technology, solutions for alternative refrigerants in freeze-drying, for cell and gene therapies, and for highly active ingredients.

Optima entered into a strategic shareholding with Weyhmueller since mid June 2022, and has acquired a stake in the company. The mechanical engineering company from Neu-Ulm in Bavaria, Germany manufactures specialist machines for manufacturing cups and cans made out of paper. This extensively broadens Optima's portfolio of solutions in the sustainable packaging solutions sector.
