MIAC 2019 clearly demonstrated the industry's increasing orientation towards sustainability issues. At Amotek, visitors learned about the flexible processing of alternative packaging materials and the resource-saving properties of machines.
Sustainability is vital

Insights into the future of tissue packaging: At MIAC 2019 in Lucca, Italy it became clear that central environmental protection, in all of its facets, is for paper hygiene manufacturers today. Environmentally friendly packaging materials were one of the trending topics at the Amotek booth. Machines that can process these materials flexibly and also require as few resources as possible are in demand. Also, the data monitoring of the machines, their intelligent evaluation, as well as services were of particular interest to the visitors at the trade show in October.

Are there alternatives to packaging in PE film, and if so, what are they? Visitors to Amotek were particularly interested in the technical possibilities for paper packaging and the processing of alternative materials such as biodegradable films and films containing natural materials. Since Amotek offers efficient packaging technologies for all materials, the company was able to provide competent information on tailor-made solutions at MIAC.

The new AMOTEK PB192 convinced the visitors: Its resource-saving technologies and the intelligent evaluation of process data in combination with Smart Services ensure a highly efficient packaging process at higher performances.

In addition, the resource-saving properties of the new AMOTEK PB192 were presented to the visitors. These included the significantly reduced power and compressed air consumption thanks to innovative technology. The Amotek top model also offers comprehensive possibilities for automated process monitoring and evaluation, which met with great visitor interest. In combination with Smart Services and an easy customer interaction, users of Amotek received all of the post-sales support needed to achieve permanently stable packaging processes.

At MIAC, Amotek exchanged information with visitors about both potential and ongoing projects. This and the increased number of visitors from previous years rounded off a very positive overall conclusion for Amotek. Amotek welcomed an international audience at MIAC. In addition to the 55 percent European, predominantly Italian visitors, many interested parties from the Middle East as well as from African and Asian countries were also present.
